The Coniston Dementia Suite
The Coniston Suite offers a combination of residential care facilities and specialist support for people diagnosed with dementia.
When creating this unit, we visited many of the best dementia care providers in the country and worked closely with dementia care professionals. This gave us valuable insight into providing a high quality of service that enriches the lives of the people we support, particularly those with dementia.
We pride ourselves on getting to know our residents and recognising everyone as an individual deserving of time, dignity and respect.
Coniston provides accommodation in spacious single en-suite rooms with wide corridors and tastefully decorated lounges. Each room is attractively furnished and includes a TV. Individual rooms can be personalised and every assistance will be given to our service-users to make them feel at home.
The Coniston Suite provides a warm, friendly and homely environment. A high standard of cuisine ensures a varied menu and provision for specialist diets. Members of our catering team will visit and speak with residents on a regular basis to discuss individual dietary needs, likes and dislikes.
Qualified health care professionals are on duty around the clock. The independence of our residents is promoted at all times. Our carefully selected staff, trained to a high standard, ensure that the care we provide is personalised, dignified and safe.
Coniston has a passenger lift to all floors, with additional toilets and bathrooms provided throughout the building.
Clergy from most denominations visit frequently and there are services held in the home for residents to attend if they wish to do so. There are hairdressing facilities on-site, and doctors, chiropodists and opticians visit regularly. The services of a dentist can be accessed when required.
